Kings Pizza Pronto officially opened for business on Tuesday, July 1, in the Rutherford Crossing shopping center. Related to nearby King’s New York Pizza in Martinsburg and Kings Pizza Pronto in Inwood, this new location will offer delivery, dine-in, and carryout services to the Winchester area.
A common inquiry new Snowden Bridge residents have is about which restaurants deliver to the community. Several pizza delivery options are already available, but residents will undoubtedly be happy to have another option, especially one so close to home.
In addition to pizza (and they have plenty to choose from, including specialty options), the restaurant’s menu boasts a wide range of other offerings, including subs, salads, appetizers, pasta, turnovers, drinks, and desserts.
The owner’s family, originally from Naples, Italy, came to the New York/New Jersey area and then expanded further south into West Virginia. They have been in the restaurant business for more than 40 years, and value Italian hospitality in their businesses. He was kind, and his excitement for the new location was evident. When asked about customer favorites, Enzo was quick to mention the steak-and-cheese sub. One of his personal favorites, however, is the chicken Greek pizza.
Taking note of what customers have to say about the restaurant’s Inwood location, it seems hopeful that the new location will garner some happy customers here as well:
“This is legit NY style pizza. The hand-tossed crust is outstanding, and the daily specials are numerous and offer good deals,” one reviewer said.
“Visited from California a while back and I still think about this place whenever I crave pizza. New York-style pepperoni and mushroom pizza with garlic sauce on the side was absolutely delicious. Perfect pizza. When I come back to visit again, this is the first place I’m going to eat at,” another mentioned.
